About UntangleTools
Built for Developers.
UntangleTools is a dedicated platform of free, precision-grade digital utility tools — unit converter, color converter, AI token counter, invoice generator, and more — designed to simplify complex daily tasks for developers, students, designers, and engineers worldwide.
Our mission is to untangle your workflow.
UntangleTools is a dedicated platform designed to simplify complex digital tasks. Whether you are a designer struggling with color consistency, a developer navigating unit conversions, a student tracking grades, or a freelancer generating invoices — our mission is to provide precision tools that remove friction from your workflow.
We started because every existing tool was either hidden behind a paywall, or just poorly designed. Utility software should be a joy to use — and free, always.

Devansh Gondaliya
Founder & BuilderAhmedabad, Gujarat, India
I am a full-stack software developer with over 2 years of experience specializing in the MERN stack, building scalable and high-performance web applications. I have strong expertise in developing robust backend systems using Node.js and Express, along with crafting modern, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js. My experience includes working on complex platforms such as CMS, CRM, and ATS systems, where I focused on clean architecture, efficient data handling with MongoDB, and delivering reliable, production-ready solutions.
Beyond core development, I have also worked on integrating advanced technologies to enhance application capabilities. This includes implementing AI-powered features such as GPT-based chatbot functionalities and building automation workflows using agent-based systems to reduce manual development effort. I am passionate about solving real-world problems through technology, continuously improving my skills, and creating solutions that are both practical, scalable, and user-focused.
Why trust our tools?
We don't just spit out raw numbers. Every tool is built with context, precision, and a genuine understanding of the problems our users face.
Authoritative Sources Only
All unit conversions use factors from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Color math follows the W3C specification. AI token counts mirror the official tokenisation libraries.
Full Floating-Point Precision
We never round mid-calculation. Results are computed with full JavaScript 64-bit precision and only formatted at the point of display — the same approach used in scientific software.
Your Data Never Leaves Your Browser
Whatever you type — conversion values, token text, color codes, grade data — stays 100% client-side. Nothing is logged, stored, or transmitted. Privacy by architecture, not by policy.
The full toolkit — all free
Every tool on this platform. No paywalls, no accounts required.
Our principles
Precision First
Every tool is grounded in authoritative standards — SI, BIPM, NIST, ISO. Correctness is non-negotiable, whether you're a student or a senior engineer.
Zero Friction
No sign-ups. No paywalls. No clutter. Fast, clean tools that respect your time and deliver answers the moment you need them.
Design as Function
Beautiful interfaces reduce cognitive load. We believe clarity and aesthetics are the same thing — and neither should ever be sacrificed.
Universal Access
Tools that only work for some people don't work at all. Everything we build is free, global, and accessible to anyone with a browser.
Our commitment
to accuracy
Every tool and every piece of content on UntangleTools is held to a strict standard. Here's exactly how that works.
Tools are regularly tested
Each converter and calculator is validated against known reference values from authoritative bodies including NIST, BIPM, and W3C. We test edge cases — extreme values, unit boundary conditions, floating-point traps — before any update ships.
Blog content is researched and fact-checked
All articles and guides published on UntangleTools are researched from primary sources. We do not generate or 'spin' content. Every factual claim is linked to or traceable to its original authoritative reference.
Conversion factors sourced directly from standards bodies
We do not use crowd-sourced conversion tables. Unit conversion factors are pulled directly from NIST Special Publication 811 and the BIPM SI Brochure, ensuring they match the values used in international science and engineering.
Safety-critical disclaimers included
For conversions used in medical, engineering, or legal contexts, we remind users to verify outputs against a primary authoritative source. Precision is our goal — but responsible disclosure is our duty.
