By using any part of UntangleTools at untangletools.com, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please stop using the Service.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
The Service
UntangleTools provides free, browser-based tools — currently a Unit Converter (length, mass, temperature, volume, area, time), with a Currency Converter, Font Preview Studio and Visual Algorithm Explorer in development.
No account is required. All calculations run client-side — no input data is sent to our servers.
Accuracy & Limitations
Conversion factors are sourced from SI, BIPM and NIST standards. However, floating-point precision limits and regional unit definitions may cause minor discrepancies.
For safety-critical applications (medical, engineering, financial) — always verify against a primary authoritative source.
Acceptable Use
You may use UntangleTools freely for personal, educational and professional purposes. You agree not to:
- Scrape or bot the Service in a way that degrades performance.
- Attempt unauthorised access to our infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Misrepresent our tools, design or code as your own.
We may block access for violations without notice.
IP & Liability
All code, design, branding and content are the intellectual property of UntangleTools. Personal, non-commercial use (sharing links, bookmarking) is welcome — reproducing our tools or content as your own is not.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for errors in results, downtime, or any damages arising from use of the Service.
Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Together with our Privacy Policy, they form the entire agreement between you and UntangleTools.
